This morning I watched HBO On Demand's sneak preview for the upcoming stop-motion film, Coraline. I was THRILLED to see that included in the promo was an interview with Althea Crone, the miniature knitwear designer (her knitted pieces are miniature, she's of average height ;)) featured on last year's Knitty Gritty Knitsters special. She worked on the film creating tiny sweaters for the clay starlet to wear!
I love hearing when fiber artists are successfully working on amazing projects and am equally happy that this time, the designer was credited on a public forum. Althea, Henry Selick (director) and Focus Features; I salute you!
